Marche with yueqing

I went to check out Fitness first at Paragon with Yue qing yesterday. It was rather spacious but I found the classes system abit stupid. Though it is good to sign up for the classes to ensure space and limit the no of pax but it is so troublesome for ppl who wants to go 2-3 classes in a row. As in the first come first serve system doesn't apply to these people. And their membership is 142 per month, but they provide good service- relaxing area, Internet, drinks to replenish energy and some outlets have swimming pool. Still thinking whether to sign on gym, the promo is over so now more ex.

Wanted to eat at Medz Orchard central but it wasn't that appealing. In the end went to Marche since it was so popular. The system used there was 'tap the card' kind- order what u want at the various booths then the person will swipe your card. Before u leave restaurant then pay at the counter. The food wasn't really that awesome and the price was so ex. Buffet is so much cheaper nowadays but I can't eat as much as last time already so not worth it. Plus I don't eat any kind of raw food (jap/seafood) and beef. I am such a cheapo eater!

Nearly died in my heels! Lucky I had my slippers, haha. Still thinking whether to buy fitflops in the future since my Skechers did not last. Now got sale, priced at 95. Not too sure how beneficial it is for my legs. Yq introduced me the collagen she taking, I shall try that next time when it is on promo. Meiji collagen! Need to start taking when I get older.

Mahjong

Played mahjong at Jun yue's house yesterday night with Charlotte, huiting and lingxuan :) initially I won 12bucks but in the end lost 1/3 of my winnings to lingxuan. Think we were the only two winners cause we limit once respectively. But we played 10cents20cents, that's why won't win or lose much. In all it was still a good gathering, haven see Charlotte and jun yue since yr2. Should have more of such gathering, be it playing MJ or cards or even sports.

Need to secure internship soon then can decide whether can go overseas. Thinking of going Bangkok with lingxuan but we need two more ppl if confirm. 4ppl is the best combi for holiday, can share costs for cab & hotel, can spilt up to do shopping in pairs, can help one another take photos and many more.

Need to start printing readings already! Since cny, I have not been gg to gym, the momentum is gone! Fats piling back, not that I lost any haha.

Blogging at an unearthly hour, 6am plus. My dad never off his alarm so I had to wake up to off it for him. But I can't get back to sleep. Oh well!

I just my new iphone4, noticed I didn't say iphone4s. Haha. My old iphone4 home button had problem, I need to press super hard just to get to the home menu. Lucky me, my warranty ended yesterday and I was in time. Before heading to somerset, I checked my warranty status at woodlands on thursday and was told that it expires in 2days. So I thought it was till saturday. In the end, it turned out that "expires in 2days" included thursday as well. So I was indeed super lucky to get my phone changed in time before chinese new year. A new start! But my apps, photos, songs, games HIGH SCORES, whatsapp are all gone! Need to buy screenprotector soon.

Preparing for cny

Specially went to Green Poppies at Haji Lane to redeem my groupon yesterday. Though it was super far but it expires today so got no choice. Tried the 3 dresses but the last one I tried got no stock. Only took photo of the first two and I bought the first one instead. It will be my first day cny outfit, it is considered a romper I think. First time trying to wear such design for cny! The red romper is $34 :) now green poppies has promotion, 2nd item at 50% off but I couldn't enjoy it since I using the voucher. So in the end I bought the romper and necklace (only one piece, so unique) for $21. I paid $18 for the $50 worth voucher, the necklace cost $19 so had to top up $3. But still cheap.

This blue dress seriously not worth it, it is $49.

After green poppies, I headed to bugis street again and bought a flowerly dress and a top again. Then headed to fareast plaza to have my usual cny haircut. I always go there for haircut like 5-6days before cny. The good thing is there is no cny extra charge, it is just $10. I don't want to spend so much just for haircut since it will grow long and become out of shape anyway.

After! Wanted to change my fringe parting, the hairstylist recommend me to change side, from left fringe to right since my fringe grows in separate directions. In the end, I asked whether can cut bangs instead. He said will change my whole look. I said okay, I mean worth a try. And outcome is liddat. I look like a china kid, looks so tutu! Hope it grows nicely.

Sports in school

Yesterday was the first time I played sports in school, apart from camps. After GE2206, I met up with Janice and Ryan at the bus stop and headed to raffles hall to meet Dajie. We waited so long for Dajie outside his room, think for more than 45mins. Then we changed and headed to the basketball court. The weather was super duper HOT! I think the people who were looking at us think we are insane! I haven't been playing ball games since JC, about 3years ago. I ended up playing basketball with netball style! The way I shoot, the way I catch the ball and the way I dodge. We didn't play really long because Janice was super tired with basketball and her shoe base was coming off.

After that, we went to play badminton right under the sun again. There was no shade at the court and the sun was so glaring. Stupid Ryan keep smashing the shuttlecock at me -.- because I can't use underhand attack. Lucky I did not get sunburn, if not I will be like a lobster during chinese new year. Playing sports is indeed more fun than just going out to watch movies, shop or eat. At least get to exercise!

Nowadays, I feel that there is an increasing of people becoming more self-conscious, as in they diet/go to gym/exercise/keep fit. Not that I am an exception but is this a trend in university and subsequently when you enter the working world. Maybe I should just continue to sign for my gym? But I only have 2 students now, income only $390, last year income was around 1k. What a drastic decrease! I need more tuition kids to teach. It is harder to find tuition assignments this year. Or maybe my standard increase? I don't accept any 20 per hour assignment anymore, my min is around $22 even for p2 kid. No wonder no one wants me to teach le. While blogging, I received a call from a tuition coordinator, I got a new tuition assignment. $23 per hour for p2 Maths and English at Yishun. Sigh there goes my 50% commission. But at least one more source of income. Now any addition assignments I will undertake will be based on rates. If the rate is above 25 per hour, why not? Haha.

Headed to gym last Tuesday morning then went window shopping at H&M and 313. Saw this dragon along the way, I was standing at the opposite side so I took the photo from behind. Lazy to walk to the front to take it. This was the only chinese new year decoration I saw at Orchard. Such a great contrast with Christmas! There were no lightings for cny?!

At H&M, I tried some basics ($7.90) and pants ($17.90). The pants was rather cheap but I did not get it as I had another pair which was rather similar.

Does this look like a basic black dress? Actually it was made up of a basic top and a black skirt, also priced at $7.90. I came out H&M empty-handed :( decided not to buy.

Then headed to 313 Hula co. which sells dresses. One for 25 and two for 40. I liked both dresses very much but I think my mum will scold me if I bought the second one below.

This tube dress is really really nice! Made me look so slim. But the thing is, this shop doesn't have new pieces, all the dresses are on display. Sigh!

I still had a lot of time before dinner so went back to ION. Cache-cache shop had sales too. This long romper is only $13 I think. I didn't get it because my bottom is too heavy :( need to gym them off.

Dinner was at Crystal Jade La Mian at level 5/6 at Taka. I don't really like crystal jade xlb and fried rice, not as good as Ding Tai Fung.

After dinner, we saw a new bakery shop at lvl 4/5. It is called PAUL, there was a long queue outside. But seriously the bread are so over-priced. About 10 slices of bread cost $2.90.

Got a Eclare to try, a coffee one instead of the chocolate. Guess how much it cost?

Deng! Deng! Deng! This costed $6!!! Don't ever buy this, it is not worth the price.

It was my first time at Utown on thursday for my first lecture of the day. #whatanoob. Utown was opened last year but I didn't bother to explore it. So here are some photos I took as #firsttimevistor.

Met up with Janice, Dajie and Ryan on saturday to buy Janice's 21st Birthday present. Ya after so long! We bought her backpack, she said she wanted it. So we headed to Suntec Sportlinks to get Jansports bag. She was undecided with black and purple so I suggested getting both for her. One is $39 and our budget was around 75 for 3ppl so might as well. Haha. After that we headed to JustAcia, since it is super cheap. We got the UOB card discount 3-1, we ordered four sets but only paid the money for 3sets. In the end, one person only paid $7. Cheapest meal you can find in central area!

Actually before meeting them, I headed to Bugis street to shop! The other time I went, there weren't many nice dresses but on saturday, there were so many things to see. But it was so crowded! I manged to buy 3dresses, 1 top and 1 pair of shoes- all for school. Probably going to head down one more time!

Yesterday went to school at 2pm even though I had no lessons to meet our fareast superstar from London. The event name was such a joke! In the end, only me, Serene, Jingwen, Wenhui, Alvin (superstar) and Shuhui ( left early) met up at the upper deck. Alvin brought this new game, called citadels for us to play. Scheming Alcin won almost all rounds, the only round he lost is because I WON! HAHA. That was the first and only time. I guess he had the most fun because he got a special card for two rounds in which we need to say "Thanks, your excellency!" whenever he is King and he called our character -.- He was secretly laughing to himself but he made us so paranoid cause if we did not say "thanks, your excellency", we will lose a turn. But overall it is fun when you know how to play. Maybe next time someone will bring another new game since we played monopoly deal, saboteur and citadels already.

Before School Starts

Ordered the durian cake using the groupon, yesterday was the deadline. I am forever so last minute, need to put this change in my resolution. The durian was kind of overpriced, originally it cost 60 plus but I got it at 32. The cream is nice but I can't say much about the texture of the cake. I will never buy from them (four seasons) again!

Before collecting the cake, I went to walk around Amk. Bought a dress there for 10bucks that I saw at woodlands pasar malam the other time. I realised I always buy dresses or tops in navy/dark blue, you probably see me in them most of the time. And yes, the dress I just bought is also navy. Haha.

School is starting tomorrow! It is way too fast. Currently I am having a 3days week for lecture, if I can get all the tutorial slots I want, it will still be a 3days week for me! But that 3days are just going to kill me, I have lessons from 10-6pm on thursday, back-to-back lessons. Going to do the balloting in school with my laptop (what a heavy load!) since I got a break from 12-4pm. Probably meeting the Fareast peeps for dinner since I have not met them for probably more than 2months.

Yesterday, I met up with Janice, Valerie and Tingyu at Amk for dinner. We decided to meet up together before school starts officially on the 9th January 2012. Initially I suggested zichar but in the end, there was no zichar stall nearby so we ate prawn mee while ty ate beehoon. The prawn noodle was not bad, as recommended by Valerie, a bit spicy though. I was sweating like mad even though I was in singlet and shorts (the most casual one).

Waiting outside Sweet Spring, it indeed lives up to its name. The deserts were so sweet.

Wanted to try the beancurd as shown above, but no one wanted to share with me. The portion is for two person, I can't be eating the whole tub alone. I wanted to try it cause when I watched "When Heaven Burns", a Hk drama, Charmaine ate this in the show so I wanted to try. It looks good on the show, plus she added some brown stuff in it and mix. But Sweet spring doesn't seem to have it. It costs $4.90 at sweet spring, don't know whether is it worth it.

After deserts, we kept chatting- eyebrow, eyelashes, gym, eyebags, amount of water we drink everyday, etc. And seriously Valerie has something wrong with her ears, she doesn't seem to catch our words correctly hahahaha.

I need to trim my hair soon.

I don't like to take photos when I am at the front, it just makes my face bigger -.- Maybe I should just lose weight so that my face will be smaller! Obviously Valerie's face is smaller since she purposely changed place to sit behind for the photo.

Twenty-Twelve

Happy New Year, wishing everyone a brand new year ahead with lots of well-wishes! 2011 was a smooth-sailing year, with no major ups and downs. In fact, it was a rather boring year, with no holiday trips, did not learn anything new and no rewarding part-time jobs. But still, 2011 was the year I turned 21 :) a mini party celebration was held at Alex's condo. Even though it was not a major blasting party, but at least I got photos taken for memories and met up with friends I did not see for ages. It is once in a lifetime event. So thank you for the peaceful and safe year in 2011 and hope 2012 will be different.

Here is the list of resolutions for 2012:
1. To lose weight (most common resolution that everyone has I guess)
2. To obtain Cap 4.0 for this coming semester modules
3. To secure a rewarding and good internship for a headstart to my future career
4. To visit Korea or Taiwan in either June or December 2012
5. To earn more money (getting poorer)
6. To learn something new- language, diving (that's why need money)
7. To take care of my skin, start to follow facial regime
8. Learn to use my precious DSLR in the right way

For now, the list will end. Probably I will add on in the future.

I just had a skype interview with a career organisation. They basically only asked 3 questions, mainly about my career path. I think I need to prepare a script on that next time. This time, I am not prepared again because I really do not know what is my future career path :( I will just work for companies that pays me well. Haha. I know I probably won't get that opportunity I just interviewed for, I don't place much hopes on it. But still, deeply I hope I get it!

I am glad to say that I can do honours (for now, all depends on next sem). But most likely I can proceed to year4 in NUS. At least that is what my dad wants and maybe myself too. It is hard to find job next year and I still don't know what is my future career path. At McAfee, the staffs asked me, what is my major, what kind of career path can you do in the future- questions that I have been asked repeatedly. The thing is I really don't know, not that I don't plan.

I finally got my Canon 600d DSLR, cost me $1420-I am officially broke. I tried taking photos but just don't seem to get it right (ISO, shutter speed etc.). Everything seems to turn out blur :(

I still prefer chong pang tao huey though.

Had to rush for the last train so we all left at 11. I was so tired, seriously no joke, work the whole day then going out is super tiring.

This was the best movie I watched this year (apart from HP I guess which hmm I haven watch haha. #whatanoob). I doubt I will want to watch it again in the near future because it was a sad ending. Shen Jia Yi did not end up with Ko-Jing Teng, her first love. They would have ended up together if not for Ko-Jing Teng unwillingness to listen to Shen-Jia yi reply. On the other hand, there were many funny moments in the movie, especially the scolding of bad words (Ji-Ba). This movie kind of marks our youth times/memories but definitely way more interesting than my youth. I guess we are just not as carefree as them, everyone is busy getting good grades, getting in good schools, follow the path that parents have dictated. But if we are as carefree as them, I guess we probably will be doing odd jobs in the future. What a contradiction!

Sad ttm that I can't find any jobs! It is the first time, my holiday is free, no work but having tuitions soon. The worst, no holiday :( no one wants to go, even if Cindy and Janice want to go, but TW got monsoon -.- hmm got so bad meh! Can't afford to go rich countries too!

Getting DSLR on 14th December yeah! Most likely! Have not started researching on which one is good. Most probably getting Canon but I think I will research on Nikon too.

Blogging how last minute I am. Birthday party this Sunday yet I have not bought my dress and decorations, thought of deco designs and so on. Worst, I have an essay due tomorrow which I only wrote like 200 words with no literature review, just words of crap. Once in a life time 21st, on one hand, I am lazy to organize but on the other, it is something worth celebrating. Now thinking of it, my cake design is super plain, I should have chosen the more complicated and 'nicer' design. Mine is just plain white 2-tier with the 21 on top, 120bucks for that! No way I am spending such amount on the next birthday cake and subsequent ones.

On the way to orchard to source for dresses if not my mum will prob kill me.

My body is starting to feel the ache, right after gymming. Body combat, body pump and ftexercise (45mins instead am hr), continuous, nearly died! This is to make up for not gg gym for 3weeks :( seriously I am throwing 60bucks per mth into the sea. But it feels good to sweat it out. Exercise is really important. But when u go gym, u meet all kinds of weird people -.- their movements in class are super funny, like hand and leg coordination all wrong kind, awkward positions. Haha. After gym I bought sushi from cold storage, got discount after 8.30pm I think. Thinking of losing weight huh?! Totally failed man.

Srsly no mood to study but I can feel the sense of urgency in me already. Whether I do honors really depend on this semester! Once my cap drop by abit, it is sayonara honors. I am going to do well for this semester (I hope)! Out of 5 mods, going to su one. Therefore need to do well for family, modernisation and education term paper, qualitative is gone case. Time really passed super quickly, another 1.5plus months is exams then holidays. Tuition, when are you going to end? This and next week, most of my friends are not teaching anymore, mine will only 31st October, halloween huh?! Then can concentrate on exams then.

I must remember to ask Alex book the clubhouse for my 21st. Actually I quite lazy to plan! always don't have the habit to plan ahead, so everything will always be last minute as you never know what will pop up last minute. So plan last minute is the safest. Like last year, my birthday dinner was planned on the day itself. I really appreciate and grateful to my artcamp friends for being there with me for my both 19th and 20th birthday :)

While trying to find these photos, I looked through all my tagged photos. I really missed year 1 and 2, we all had so much fun. Going out for supper, chit chat, go outing, etc. Think as we get older, we kind of focus more on getting work done, doing projects, no more time for outings.

Other my birthday as the gathering, I am going to organise outings during December holidays. We all need to gather, take photos for both fun and memories sake. So in the future, when we look back, we will miss these little gritty things called life.

My cousin is back from Europe! which means my Gucci bag is here, haha. She bought it for my 21st birthday :) a bit early but better early than late, lol. I will be meeting up with her this friday to have a look cause if I don't like the design, still can change in Singapore. I will post the photo once I get it :)

This week and next week will be so busy! I really dread the last week of October, not because term papers but my students' exams. All on the same dates, argh! HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY RYAN!!

Had BBQ yesterday at The Arte, my cousin's place for Ryan's birthday. I didn't take many photos at the BBQ pit because the lighting wasn't good and my camera isn't up to standard. This makes me more determined to get a DSLR as my canon is unable to take good photos at night.

The cake is super nice, not very sweet even though it looks very creamy. It is from Pines Garden- their cakes are always so beautiful. Maybe I will order my 21st Birthday from them. The venue has been more or less confirmed! Even though my cousin hasn't officially book it as he can only book it exactly one month before. Hope no one books on 5th November then. Need to send out FB invites soon :) The location is super good, near town and expressways, it is at balestier so the food there for supper is awesome.

I have watching videos on youtube, the Taiwan makeup variety show. Seriously chou nu dou ne bian mei nu. Look at the before and after, like zomg!! I NEED TO LEARN MAKEUP! All because of the career talk, the instructor said it is A MUST TO PUT MAKEUP for girls when you go interview.

Yeah I managed to secure a bursary which is worth around 2.5k!! The person from nus called to tell me, next week I will receive the confirmation letter. A bit sad that I didn't manage to pass the interview for LBK award which is worth 3k. At least better than nothing :) 2.5k per year so still need to pay 4k plus of tuition fee, taxing for my dad but at least it helps with the bursary.

I saw on fb that my cousin sister is coming back from Europe! Didn't realized she has gone for almost 2weeks. Last month before she went Europe, we met up for dinner, she suddenly asked me out. Met at taka then we went to eat crystal jade. Crystal jade porridge, duck meat and wanton are really nice! But expensive so she paid for the meal. Then we went to paragon to look at bags *branded*, the price totally out of my league man! Walked to fep to get her car, she got company car. How I wish to get company car next time, can save money leh.

I have not started on my qualitative proposal, tomorrow due date. I got like night to do after tuition at 9pm. Must reach school by 12pm to submit it! Then need to study off Einstein test!

The first thing I spotted outside my students' house was two crabs! The orange crab is super active. I asked why they wanted to rear crabs, they said because they reared tortoise before so wanted crabs. I wonder how big can it grow, can eat or not.

Intensive tuitions this whole week, kill me pls! Just yesterday, I had 3 tuitions in a row, sec2-p2-p3. With tuitions going on like that, I really don't need to study. To be honest, I have not touch any readings since week 2 of school. Maybe I should cultivate a good habit: to read at least one reading a day!

Just finished watching Sister of Eternal Flower so currently watching this HK drama, Lives of Omission. Highly recommended, it is about CBI and how they sent in undercover to solve cases. The tricks, tactics they used on enemies and on one another. Each having their own purpose, mutually taking advantage of one another (quoted from the drama wiki). Like you never know who to trust, thus you can only rely on yourself.

Tried finding locations for 21st party but hmm, haven found a good location yet. Think I should start preparing soon. Need to book place, buffets, cakes etc. Though I am quite lazy to do it, I like to leave things to the very last minute. So see how la!

Went to Sim Lim Square to check out the DSLR. After trying Nikon, Olympus, Lumix and Canon, Canon is still the best! Maybe because most of my friends are using Canon, haha. But to be honest, the canon body grip is much better than Nikon. Nikon camera body is lighter and the package cost about $919. On the other hand, Canon 600D with 15-35mm lens is $1080 and Canon 600D with 15-135mm lens is $1300. I did not ask about Canon 550D pricing as 600D is the latest. The advantage is that the screen is covered, prevent scratches, etc. The person at the shop introduced a lens 15-280mm but it cost 1000plus. The package he offered with that lens and Canon 600D body is about 2k. Way beyond my budget! Most likely I will get it in December after exams, prices will probably be still the same.

I got a samsung harddisk at Sim Lim Square. It is 1TB and I paid $123 for it, actual $139 then the guy offered $125, then if I pay in cash, only $123. So ya of course pay in cash as I just got my tuition pay. It is portable and light too. Worth it? I seriously in need of a hard disk, my computer always super lag, maybe there are too many stuff in it. Not intending to change laptop in years to come as I probably will be working by then.

Went to Chinatown for dinner, supposedly dinner but I was way too full so I shared fruits with Jiaxuan. I went to two OG in a day, one at bugis and one at chinatown. What is so good about OG? So crowded la. Then went to Swamston, forgot whether it is spelt like that. It is a store that sells lots of cheap toiletries. I bought pantene shampoo and conditioner ($10.10), 3 packets of LUX body refill ($8.80) , Ginvera body soap ($3.60) and St Ives cleanser ($6.50). Wanted to buy scrub, in the end I took wrongly. Only spent like $29 for them. Kind of worth it cause got car ride back. If not I won't carry such heavy stuff from chinatown to sembawang.

I am really impressed with Sociology Society publicity poster, it is full of creativity :) Join Sociology Society if you want to contribute or just like me, want to put this experience in resume. Though it isn't very outstanding, but at least I participated in some leadership activities in school.

Yesterday was an impromptu dinner at Dempsey, Long Beach Seafood Restaurant. My cousin, Jack from KL came to visit us with his girlfriend so his brother, Martin decided to treat us to dinner. The dinner cost about $80 per pax, there were crabs, fish, drunken prawns, sharksfin, bamboo shoots. Ya my family also eat expensive meals, the bill always comes up to min 800, even though there are always only 10-11 of us. Another characteristic of family is that we eat at lightening speed (abit exaggerating!!) but it is true i.e. you eat a few mouths while looking at your food, then you look up, the plate with food is empty already, which is haha scary. I showed my cousins, the "all is tan" video and they were very amused by it. Apparently, they don't watch elections videos.

Because after chatting on whatsapp, we realised we are in the library, both at level 3, sitting near each other, like 4 tables away only. Haha. Zhen you yuan! So we headed to The Deck to eat. Had a great catch-up after not meeting her for so long. We still had an impromptu to go Taiwan! Okay fine, is me, I really want to go holiday! Anyone who wants to go holiday, please ask me along! I am fine with anywhere, except Malaysia. Haha.

Drove to tuition at Yishun with my dad by my side. After not driving for more than 5months, I am still quite steady, except the parking part. At least I got in the lot, but still need to drive straight then reverse (with no cars at both sides of course). Really got to practise again!

I want to learn something new! Maybe a language or course like diving.

Watched this VV drama, 情人眼裏高一D, which was indeed a thought-triggering show. It portrays Gung Yan-tung (Wong Cho-lam) as an ugly and short guy who can sings very well but his looks totally kills everything. Until he ate a chocolate that turns him into Gan Lik-shun (Bosco Wong), because of his looks, he was able to become the most popular cantopop star. Your own looks and how people look at you does matter, it somehow determines your fate. This is just reality. People like pretty things but not ugly. The ending was quite sweet though, moral of this show, inner beauty still wins.

I am going to complete week 1 and 2 readings by this week. I am still stuck at week 1 now.

Just bought Tupperware Eco Bottle Spring, which comprises of 4 colours. The colours are really nice and bright! If anyone of you want it, I am selling it on my selling page :) I always had trouble finding a good bottle with no smell until I came across tupperware. It has lifetime warranty so I think i will be using this bottle for years.

Met up with Brenda for early dinner before Gym. We ate at this mini Japanese shop at Taka, out of 7 stalls, 5 of them are jap food. I decided to try this stall as it sells glutinous rice, Japanese style kind which is rarely seen outside. I got the salmon set which cost $13.80.

Didn't really like the salmon skin so I removed it and left it aside. Decided to try the korean style of wrapping my salmon with lettuce (okay fine, korean wrap lettuce with grilled/bbq chicken and bacon) and it turned out to be really delicious and in a way healthier. Where can I find such lettuce?
The rice was delicious too. It is really different from our chinese glutinous rice, which is more oily. Wanted to take over the glutinous rice but it cost like $7.80, just for the rice itself. Kind of ex but I will try it again someday.

I went for June's Body Combat and Paul's Body Jam classes. Today, body combat class focused on the legs, my legs were almost at the verge of breaking. Lunges then askiva then kicks, continuously! Body Jam was kind of fun, there is this trainer who joined the class, her figure was super good. I bet all the guys outside were staring at her.

Gym was proved to useless to me. Cause after gym, I went to buy sushi, chocolate Belgium waffle and bread. A workout indeed!

Lunch with og mates yesterday at yih food junction. Though it was a short lunch, but at least we all get to meet after so long. Guess my og is the kind that doesn't need to meet very often. I guess everyone is busy with the things we do and are involved in.

Talked to my dad about having holiday and once again, he says he want to cruise! Sigh we have been cruising for zillion of times already, always to the same locations. He doesn't like to carry the luggages around, he thinks it is troublesome. So I suggested going to Korea since he never went there before. So maybe will go next summer break? But everything is still planned. Told him I am intending to buy a DSLR, he did not have objections. So now I will start saving up and get it as soon as I save at least 1.5k. Any good suggestions?

Note to self: start studying from Monday, 22 august 2011. At least do some readings :)

School has started for everyone!

I just changed my blogskin and I am loving it. I kind of have a bad feeling for this sem modules: SC3204, SC3221, SC3202,SC2205 & PC1325. They are modules that I have totally no confidence in. What making it worst, is that most of my friends are starting to do their readings diligently already. I can say I am well-prepared in terms of getting all the coursepacks and readings printed but not practically reading them. But my timetable is awesome cause it is very packed together so I will have more time to spare. However most of time are spent on tuitions since I have 7 students. My number of students just keep increasing- Ya I may be earning a decent amount of 20per hour but I don't have a life, like srsly.

That's why I am going to save up and spend it on overseas trip. Please invite to go overseas with you! Haha. I kind of miss life at fareast but definitely not the work, because the amount of paper work can kill. Actually it is one of my most awesome part-time job because I made a lot of new friends and most of them are from NUS. They are a bunch of really nice and super-on people, super nice to hang out with them. Really doubt I will go back and work, even though most likely I will get hired again if my boss (theassistantdirector) is still there. If anyone going back to work there, I may consider to work part-time there again.

Started work at Far East Property Sales Pte Ltd last Tuesday. It will only be a 2 week assignment I think since they will be hiring a permanent secretary. Yeah I'm the secretary for the Assistant Director there. For the last 4days, it has been very slack because the old secretary has not left. But sometimes it gets kind of busy when you need to do filing and generate PR. Seriously the system at FEO is really outdated -.- they don't have scan copies for all their documents. So when I need to find one document for the marketing executive, I need to flip through at least 8 stacks of thick files to find that one damn document. Argh! Even worse, there is no proper pantry there. If I want to drink coffee or milo, I had to secretly go to level 2 to "steal". Because the coffee and milo are only for people at level 2 (my office is at level 3 btw).

I miss arts camp :( "Ahouse how do you feel? we feel good ah, oh we feel so good ah, oh we feel so x3 good, ah ah ah!" "Hand up, palms together, eh eh sa bu leh" But no time to go back.

I have not been blogging for ages again. Yesterday was results day! Woke up a few times in the middle of the night, woke up at 7am plus then used my phone to login to myisis to check results. I think I am secretly worried. Around 8am plus, the message came! On a happy note, I somehow maintained my cap, on the other hand, I need to maintain it for two more sems to do honors. Should I do honors? I regret not taking economics during my first year, totally pull my cap to bottom rocks with two C+. If I had taken sociology from the start, maybe I can get second upper. Now I think I will be stuck with second lower. Some say if take honors, can get better pay. But it prob only applies to business, engineering and science. What can i do with sociology?

Yesterday UOB called me to schedule me for an interview for a part-time job, which require full-time commitment. I don't remember applying for it. I only applied for their part-time job that requires only a few days work per week. No other job offers, maybe cause I have high expectations. I reject all below $7 per hour jobs, no customer service and retail jobs, must be central or north. So many expectations, no wonder can't find jobs. I got a one day job as receptionist for standard chartered again! $8.50 per hour, yeah!

Impromptu meet up with Emily yesterday to go recruit express together. The guy, Gabriel, only had clients from the west side which I'm not interested in at all. He was also from NUS Stats, but like what Emily said, his results are confirmed not outstanding since he is working at Recruit express. After interview, we went to walk around. Emily wanted to go fep but I had tuition so we could only walk around at taka and wisma. Emily went to buy a slice of cake from Rive Gauche, not bad but it's $6.50.

We went Mango, F21 and C&K, awesome clothes and shoes. Since we did not manage to see much stuff, so we decided to meet up on friday to shop and maybe watch movie.

Elections results are out! Not that I know much about it, but seeing good ministers being kicked out and useless candidates like TPL in the parliament, I think it's quite screwed up. But this is a test for the elected candidates, they are constantly being scrutinized by the public. Any mistake that they make will be commented by the whole Singapore, via all kinds of social media. So is being a member of parliament easy, the answer is no!

On thursday, I decided to go to recruit express for an interview, desperate for jobs already. The location was at UOB plaza 1 and my interview was at 1pm. Upon reaching UOB plaza 2, there was a huge crowd, initially I thought it was the lunch crowd. But it was actually the SDP rally -.- it was so packed. Argh! When I walked pass, I can't even hear what the candidates were talking about.

It will be my last time going to Whampoa to teach tuition, finally! It is so so far.

My student's house door is really special. There is this lion head knob that you can use to knock the door. haha.

Da yi ma is here! It came at the wrong time. I went to gym yesterday, to attend my eyecandy (mark) body combat class but just before I attend the class, it came -.- Totally wasted my time there. Cramps are unbearable, super duper pain till I need to pop 2 panadols to sleep. I slept at 9pm plus,sleeping time is getting earlier and earlier.

Yesterday I went to meet Amy and Valerie for lunch at novena popeyes. It was my first time there :) The 2pc chicken meal was not bad and not as fantastic as what others said leh.

Going to recruit express for interview later, cannot tahan not having a job le. The interview was once again sucky, why always ask about my marketing skills. Why having marketing skills so valuable these days? I should have chosen to be deputy marketing director last time instead of deputy publicity director lo. Sigh! Why are my previous experiences in singtel, vrnet and bank, not as valuable as Asiamedic one month internship? The first question always is " can you introduce yourself?". How can I answer it well? Everytime I just say what I am studying at nus, totally not outstanding at all, I still paused like 5seconds in between. So torturous to wear heels somemore even though i like heels a lot.

Went for body combat class by Suhaimi and body pump class by Toni. One word to describe both classes: shag. Body combat was non-stop jumping, kicking and boxing, Body pump was non-stop lifting of weighs and squatting. I seriously think I am super lousy, I can only lift 2.5kg of weigh on each side of the handle. My thighs are so sore from all the squatting. I think my legs will cry for help tomorrow morning when I wake up. But I will still go gym and stop wasting my money by not going gym.

After gym, I went for tuition. Bought Subway turkey and ham footlong for lunch and dinner. My student stays super far, whampoa, super out of the way. But I am earning $150 for 4 lessons and the student is only P2. Seriously good money, I am earning quite a bit from tuition this month but I still want to get a proper job. After the 2.30pm tuition, I rushed to yishun from my second tuition. Had to cab from yishun mrt to the student place because I was going to be late. I boarded the cab at around 4.54pm, hooray for the cab, I thought most cabs would just wait till 5pm to fetch passengers.

Today is the day that I officially told my dad not to give me allowance anymore. He just needs to pay my internet and phone bills now. Just hope I don't get sacked from my tuition. This also means I have $300 less to spend, $300 is indeed substantial.

Exams are officially over for me but sadly not for most of my friends. Honestly, this semester was quite bad for me,the exams questions are really hard! But no point grieving over them since they are over. Now I just want to quickly get a job. After a whole week of intensive exams, it's now intensive tuition. I have tuition almost everyday except Sunday, but at least I have something to do. Now my daily routine would be gym-tuition-eat-sleep, I hope to add on work to my daily routine. Think I will be super rich but it is so boring to stay in Singapore. None of my friends seem to keen on going for a holiday, either they say no time or no money. Why am I always stuck in Singapore? I made myself a promise,I will go overseas at least once every year when I work. I want to travel to different countries. Maybe by that time, I will learn to be independent and can go overseas on my own. That would be quite an expedition/adventure to travel on my own. Though it may seem lonely, but it is definitely worth the experience.

I have been watching this HK drama, Only you. It's about wedding company, I don't know what is the purpose of the drama but I still watch. I agree with what Yimin (one of the actress) said in the first episode. In today world, everything is about packaging. You need to package yourself on the outside so that people would not look down on you. Like wearing jewelery, branded bags, makeup, branded clothes, etc. Even though it may sound materialistic but this is reality. Relatives look down on you if you are holding sloppy jobs, low ranking jobs or have poor fashion sense. But once you show them your namecard, with the title managing director, manager, executive director, they will be like 'Wow you are so smart and good!'. They can't wait to flatter you with gifts and praises. What a realistic world that is!

Happy birthday Martin! It was my cousin's birthday yesterday. He treated us dim sum at Thomson Plaza Peach Garden. Before reaching the restaurant, my family were quite unlucky. I made my dad did a wrong turn before Thomson Plaza, my dad almost banged the car at the entrance of the car park and we kept turning and turning in the carpark to find parking lot. Dim sum was not bad. My 3rd cousin ordered so many dishes, I love eating peach garden fried sotong, and shao rou, super awesome! But the meal cost a bomb, $400 over.

I had a sudden urge to blog. Another 2 more weeks, it will be exam time! So fast but I am so looking forward to it. I want to have a good rest. On Monday, I went for an interview at Standard Chartered Office at Marina Bay Financial Tower after my 8am lecture. In the end I was there way early like 10am -.- so I walked around. The life at the tower is really complicated, you need to press the floor number that you want to go and the screen will then tell you which lift to board. Cool and safe but I wonder what will happen in times of crisis, maybe fire. I waited there for another 40mins at the office because interview was delayed. Then I realised I was really under-dressed, I wore a sleeveless top, skirt with heels while others wear black skirt and blazer -.- business outfit. Seriously that is so common, can business wear have some novelty? I finally had my interview at 11am plus. There were two interviewer: one HR head and one business whatever, i never listen. They asked questions like:

1. Describe yourself

2. If I were to ask your friend, what would they say about you?

3. What sector do you want to go in the banking sector? List 4

4. What do you intend to do in the future?

5. What keeps you going everyday? Can be anything.

6. How would you convince your clients to believe you?

Overall I felt the interview was tough because I did not prepare for it. The only question I prepared was "what are your strengths and weaknesses?". Haha. After the interview, both interviewers wanted to shake my hand, i saw the HR person (she) hand first but I shook the Business person (he) hand first. I don't know why, maybe I think he has a more influential role.

Then on tuesday, I received a call from Chris, Kelly Services, at night, telling me I got the job at Standard Chartered as Branch Banking Trainee. On one hand, I was super happy but on the other, it is a sell credit card job. I don't want to be seen at roadshows promoting cards. But I have not officially rejected it. I got till tuesday to think over, cause the person asked me to go on tuesday to sign document instead. Now I just spam resumes again, hoping I will get another job offer.

Always can't study at night -.- but exams are coming, think I will have to drink more coffee now.

Had urban midterm yesterday,it was really awful because I don't know what the hell I was writing. Just wish for at least a B because its 50% of my overall grade. Should never take such a module with such weird percentage. Ageing was equally sian because of the research paper, I totally don't understand the module at all.

Headed down to Orchard to meet a guy from BWG consulting for a program executive job. But I was too early so I went to gym to put down all my books and shoes.Then went to meet Mr Lim at Big O cafe at Wheelock Place. He introduced to me the project he was doing and a description of his company. So the company was opened by him but he takes care of everything.He have a company but he is the boss,the worker, the everything ta kind. Initially I thought it was a spam because where got such company. But luckily its not. He treated to a cup of mocha and chocolate fudge cake,so sinful! So basically I will be doing the job on an ad-hoc project basis. But I seriously don't know how I am going to get paid and how much. It will be home-based. He asked me to think of my pay, like my request but I seriously don't know what is the right amount to charge.

Slacked today again :( I only do work the last time.When can I kick off this bad habit?

Went to Avril's 21st birthday party yesterday at serangoon. Her house is super big,I am so envious man.My house is like 4times smaller than hers i think. It was fun to see the rest again and play sang guo sha. I met one secondary and one primary school friend at her party,it's way too coincidental already. Hmm, I wonder why my looks didn't change, others can recognise me so easily but i can't recognise them at all. Most of my primary and secondary school friends changed alot,like omg! The food was good too, but I did not manage to take any photos. Her birthday party was rather different from the others,I feel that its more cosy for Avril party because there were lesser people but more interaction among each other.

Had tuition at 9.30am at toa payoh,super early but got no choice. Then went to gym and OMG THERE IS A REALLY CUTE AND HANDSOME BODY COMBAT INSTRUCTOR THERE!! I will go all his body combat classes from next week onwards.Seriously,after 8months in gym (fine i never lose any weight),I haven seen any cute guys there.I wonder where they go.Plus California fitness gym at orchard has a reputation of having many gays in it. Maybe i just didn't notice at all, cause they are not cute nor handsome. I did lunges, squats,leg press and attended aerobics and body combat classes. It was fun but super tiring.I can feel the tiredness now.I want to sleep now!

I will be taking Emily's students for like 3months during summer break. Even though its good money,but it means i will have 5students during summer break.Her students are not easy,P6,my brain cells will be totally used up.Emily,you better buy me something from nyc!!

Had gym yesterday and I received intensive personal training lesson from kelvin (i think that's his name). Multiple reps of squats, lunges, weights and etc, even though it was super intensive,I did not feel any aches today (surprisingly!). It lasted for an hour. Then had to go back to school for sociology meeting. Played sangguosha and I was killed again as a "nei jian", sigh! Not fated to win. Theme for socio camp this year is inception, I wonder how it will be like. Thanks ck for letting me be the marketing head instead of publicity head (i really don't like being in publicity). This means I have to start calling companies soon,its a whole new experience :)

It has been awhile since I last updated. I can't update using my iphone- excuse for not updating. I did a body analysis at gym on thursday, the result was %&%&#@ argh! My muscle mass decreased which isn't a good thing, as said by the instructor. As usual my back strength isn't good, that's why I can't do crunches, sit-ups and yoga/pilates poses as well as others, who are much older. I shall start training more often! One of the instructors will be teaching me some exercises next week I think,hope I will lose weight. But looking at the rate I am eating, I doubt I will succeed. I have been eating chocolates and ice cream daily! I will be going gym more often next week because its recess week. I hope I will be more motivated to study since everyone is so hardworking.

I wanted to buy the jacket (photo below) but it was a little tight and they didn't have a size bigger because they just sold it. Sad ttm! I have been spending alot this two months,maybe I just feel rich because of tuition and chinese new year. I have alot of working clothes now,too formal for school though. I am like wearing business wear to school almost everyday.

Wednesday was my free day so I went gym in the morning, like for less 2hrs,better than nothing. Pilates was another class that doesn't suit me at all,I can't seem to balance myself on one hand,my arm was like breaking.After gym,waited for almost 20mins for Amy(always late,from 11.30am change to 12pm then end up seeing her appear only at 12.15pm) at novena before heading to bugis. I just wanted to see the clothes there,hoping to get good buys but in the end,I bought nothing again. I kept seeing the same clothes at different shops, its just where u purchase them in the end. Amy saw a green dress but she did not buy it,that shop sells really nice clothes but at more atas prices. After we went to eat at the coffeeshop, I ate nasi lemak(so sinful!) and Amy drank soya milk. After we went to Thieves Market,Amy wanted to go there,so yeah I accompanied her. Its a place for rather "good" bargains for old vintage cameras. Maybe I just don't like used items so I won't buy anything there.But it was another unlucky day, it started raining after awhile, the people quickly packed their stuff. So Amy suggested we go Haji Lane, being the noob me, I never been there before. Seriously even though Singapore is so small, I never been to many places before so I will be quite fascinated with new places. I am just too homey! Green Poppies clothes were not bad,the prices were reasonable but the dress I wanted was too transparent :( It was overall a nice experience until it started raining again. I am glad I was sloppy that day,short singlets and slippers,best outfit for rainy days. Walked around bugis street once again then we went home.

Finally met up with Emily on thursday after school. We actually missed one another when we walking the passageway from orchard mrt to tangs,so poor Emily had to walk back to orchard station to find me.We went to C&K to see wallets, after which we went to walk around wisma. "Have you eaten your lunch?" "No"- that was the conversation that made us go to food republic to eat,we were too hungry to continue walking. We ate the hokkien noodles,which was rather famous. We talked about school,etc. Then it was time for more shopping or should I say window shopping. Emily saw a nice floral dress at one of the shops, it looked nice on her, a casual dress but she didn't buy it in the end. Then we bought bubble tea from Wisma, I made a wrong choice to introduce it to Emily, I didn't try it before so I wanted to try. It was too diluted and the pearls were not chewy enough. KOI is still our number one choice! There was a CNY goodies fair at Taka, we got to try almost all the pineapple cookies,I got quite sick of it after a while cause I kept popping pineapple tarts into my mouth,not all were nice. Some were too sweet for my liking. This reminded me that chinese new year is coming, I got to get some new clothes for my wardrobe. We walked to ION daiso to get some stuff before heading to C&K again to see wallets. We walked to wisma and ion C&K at least twice before the wallet that we wanted had some faults. Finally we got the wallet at ION,thanks Emily for the wallet.I will definitely use it during CNY. This means I got to get a new bag, new dresses, new shoes and many more soon.

School workload are getting heavier.I am really not confident in scoring well this semester because the CA stands a higher percentage,especially for medical sociology and ageing. I just pray I get at least a cap 3.5 now,means all B+. YES I WILL TRY MY BEST TO START STUDYING NEXT WEEK (at least read two readings). For now I will go back to continue watching my HK drama.

It's my last day of work at Asia Medic, one month internship has just zoomed past and now its over! I totally can imagine myself working another 3 months during the next term break. I finally got all my modules, though only 3 out of 5 were my choice of study, I took gek2901 and bahasa mainly because of friends. Hope I will be able to score in them! So my last day of exam will be on 29 April, which means I can start working almost immediately in May (I am such a workaholic!!). But I still want to go overseas for a holidays, any takers for holiday trip?!

Aims for the new semester:

1. CAP 4.5 !! I shall not expect that I will get a cap 5.0 so I aim for cap 4.5. I need at least a cap 4.0 to prevent my current cap from dropping.

2. Go to GYM at least thrice a week. I really need to keep fit if I continue my style of eating.

3. Find more tuition jobs to finance my own spending. I hope I won’t need to get any more allowance from my parents.

4. I need a change of phone. Hope I can get the Iphone 4 by this month.

To be continued, I think I need to set more goals for myself.

2010 will officially end when the clock stuck 12 tonight, it will another brand new year ahead.

I shall start reminiscing the past one year:

At the start of January, I went on board Royal Caribbean with my parents for an enjoyable trip to Langkawi, Phuket and KL. Though I felt it was rather boring, but it was no doubt a relaxing trip. I still remember before and during my trip, I kept asking Ken to help me do bidding. Haha. School started almost right after my trip ended, then I decided to major in economics (I totally regret that choice now!). First two weeks were just lectures with the mini econs clique (ken and Emily, sometimes ewen and michelle yip). The EC2101 was an ah-tiong -.- I still remember he did not upload the lecture notes before lecture because he did not know how to use ivle. Can NUS hire better lecturer of good qualifications to teach, I really don’t know bother how well they did for their own exams, if they can’t teach, then don’t hire them as professors. Argh! Macro lecturer was not bad, but the module is too mathematical for me already. Other 3 modules I took were gender studies, environmental sociology and changing landscapes, they were pretty alright then.

The highlight for February was Chinese New Year, even though it’s not as fun as previous years, but spending time with closed ones was still awesome. I was rather unlucky, kept losing in mahjong! [Actually it’s really hard trying to remember what I did for the past year, without any references.] Some of OG mates went to Ken’s house to play mahjong, hoping to get ang bao but totally failed! because his mum was not in. Oh ya, I remember going Jingyi’s house for mahjong session, rather random too because that day I had project meeting. Then Amy messaged me to ask whether I was at The Cathay Starbucks, because she thought she saw me. Indeed I was there so I went to find her. She was with Jingyi, they were studying before I came. So was it my fault that Amy started talking to me when I sat down!! We kept gossiping la, studying became gossiping, at least for Amy. We tried setting a 30min no-talking rule but it kind of failed. At that time, I was chatting online with Alson then after that Alson, Junyue and Marcus came to find us so we went to SMU to eat then off to mahjong. Alson succumb to temptation of mahjong and started playing for the second time I guess, or first. [Amy, do you remember? You were rather emo then.] I won that night, woohoo! Not much though.

It was Food Hunt 2010 during March, being in the ocomm does not benefit me at all, the whole time I was in the car, eating snacks instead of XO beehoon, etc at the coffeeshop. Finally months of planning have come to an end. Sadly, that day I cried, not because I was happy that the event finally ended but I calculated the scores wrongly, causing one team to lose their chances of being the top3. I felt so bad then because the team came to confront us. But I am really glad to have good team mates, like Janice, Marcus, Amy, Emily, Alson and Junyue and the other ocomm people especially those from my Programme team J Think the week after was Beach Fiesta, I went there to help and end up becoming ball-picker.I kept applying sun-block on my face, legs and hands. I don’t want to get sun-burn again. Though I was the ball-picker but I had Amy and Emily to do it with me, haha and I got to know new people, like Ivan and Joel. Being the ones who always come late and go early, Amy and I went home first. Think we are known to be super nua in Arts Club.

Preparation for Exams in April, I studied with the usual mahjong kakis (Suzhen, Jo’an, Marcus, Alson) and Emily for econs. It was rather productive because everyone was studying with you, especially in the places like the Central Library. My exams ended early, like late April, with the last paper being environmental sociology. Only me, lingxuan and ken ended on that day. I think I went home because I don’t remember going out with Ken. Haha. Oh ya, I remember I went to the travel fair like 2 weeks before exams. Emily wanted to go Bangkok but none of us wanted to go because of the riots. So we checked out other places, but none to our liking. In the end, we settled for cheap $89 4D3N package to Genting. It was way cheap man!!

We were all excited about our trip!! It was the first time 8 of us travelled together (i.e. Jo’an, Suzhen, Alson, Jingyi, ShiChen, Marcus and Emily). We spent one day in KL, that day was the best of all days because we girls shop like there is no tomorrow. We shopped non-stop, buying dresses, shoes and bags. The zichar at Genting was not bad too, it’s called mushroom farm. Initially I thought we were really going to see mushrooms. I love zichar a lot, local Chinese food is really awesome! I started working at Bank of Singapore after my trip, as a credit intern. It was a rather well-paid job and I really needed a job then. Because Universal Studios rejected my job application -.- I introduced Jo’an, Marcus and Emily to the job after Valerie messaged me, and guess what! Everyone else got the job except me, there goes my 10bucks per hour job. But lucky there was the bank job my cousin introduced, at least this can be written in my resume.

Signed up for Gym package in June because I realized I don’t incorporate exercise regime into my daily life. Took leave to go for Arts Camp to be councilor, it was not as fun as ARTS CAMP 2009!! Being a councilor and a participant is really different. Plus, I met a lot of wonderful people from my 09 arts camp og :) After which, I started planning for Oweek in the late June as DPD Admin. It was a tough decision right from the start, since I don’t have expectations and targets for myself, naturally others won’t feel confident working with me. Maybe I don’t have the capability to be a leader, maybe I am just a follower. But isn’t life like that? There are bound to be leaders and followers. Then people will say, ‘Why don’t choose to be a leader?’ I think I am more of the laid-back, take life easy kind of person so I don’t like stressing myself with all the problems. Maybe having problems will make me learn and grow but I just don’t want to tax myself. Eventually I still took it up.

Really want to thank Janice a lot for her help with PR, I tried to help her as much as I can. The Admin side team was really hard to form. It was really stressful! I had my BOS work, 3 tuitions, gym and Oweek Admin work, it was not easy ok. The shirt designs and production was giving me quite a problem, especially for lavada. We submitted the designs last minute so they could only send us the shirts like day 4 of oweek. Sigh.

Finally it was Oweek, 7 days of torture man! I did get to rest but like at 12am plus on some days and had to wake up early. Honestly, I was not as stressed as Alson, Jo’an and Hongping la. So I went to do station ICs, etc. Because to me, DPD Admin has nothing to do during the camp itself so I just went to help out at stations. Fine, I am the kind that people ask me to do then I will do kind of person. I won’t volunteer myself, not because I don’t want to, but I didn’t see any requirement of me being there. During camp, I broke down again! I am such a cry-baby man! Everyone only saw me crying once but actually it was twice. The time when everyone saw was when I felt that I can’t breathe properly, my chest felt tight, and my hands were like in cramp and unable to relax. I don’t know whether was it because of the tau-pok and being thrown into the sky, two things happening right after another. I was just unable to control the tears, maybe it just one of the ways I let out my emotions, after which I will calm down. The other time is when someone talked to me about my role in the camp, etc that I was not supportive. Yeah, I understand so I just said ‘orh,okay’- my usual style. Not that I don’t take people words at heart but I just don’t know how to reply. My mind was just blank! Hmm, I really think I am a cry-baby, 4times this year le. Omg! I remember telling myself that I should not cry so easily, because I am showing the world how vulnerable I am. I need to shout out ‘YOU SHOULD NOT CRY!’ to my inner-self whenever I felt like crying.

It was another semester ahead. I did not do well in economics. My results for yr1 sem2 were really bad. C, C+, B-, A- and A-, the two A- balanced the C+, in the end, my cap was 3.2 again. So I changed my major to sociology. I studied modules: soci of food, nation building, cities in transition, childhood and youth and social research. After changing major, I rarely get to meet the econs people anymore.

Officially stepped down from Arts Club in September, wah, like finally man!! After I stepped up as Organising Director for Sociology Society, haha. Honestly, I think I did not have chance to be the director, because I did not know anyone in sociology society except chao kiat and Vicki. How to win votes?!! But lucky the people were nice, because I went to the elections just for that post. I want the title in my resume, it will look nice to be director instead of deputy right. Haha. Then soon it was appreciation dinner, went out with Amy for the first time alone since we met. Seriously, we don’t meet each other outside school time man. We went to City Square Mall at Farrer Parkàthen walked to Mustafaàlittle IndiaàBugisàtake train to chinatownàshopped and walkedàslack at starbucksàtake train to tanjong pagarà take bus to hotel. We were being allocated to a corner table -.- super shitty but we enjoyed our company.Haha.

Research, Projects and Assignments occupied most of my days in October. But i still had time to watch dramas, i always watch dramas right before exams. But after exams,I didn't even watch any dramas that I downloaded. My CA grades were not really good, like B and B+ when people are getting A- and A. Felt so unfair when some tutors practised different marking schemes.

Enjoyed my birthday with my og mates, thanks alot :) It has been quite some time people celebrated birthday for me. Heex. I was not used to people singing birthday song to me and forgot that I need to wish before cutting cake, haha. My first exam was on 20nov, social research, thus I also ended early, 27 nov. Way early so I did not go out for the first few days after my exams. I felt a sense of relief after exams, I don’t want to remember anything about studies so I cleared my desk, put all my notes in the cupboard. I received news regarding my job application to Asia Medic so I went for the interview :) Had to wait a few days for the interview outcome.

Yeah, I got the job at Asia Medic as Marketing Intern in the Business development department. Honestly, I am just doing admin work. Celebrated Christmas with my family members but I pangseh my university friends.

The end of my long memory- it seems like the paragraph gets shorter and shorter as the months passed.

Going to grandpa’s house for steamboat later, so not going to countdown at night. The steamboat and gathering session will probably end by 12am because grandpa needs to rest. But still, I am so looking forward to steamboat later.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Isn't this photo just awesome? Only DSLR (borrowed from ken) can take such great photo. I swear to save up to buy one if i get to year4,which means if i get to honour in yr3sem2,I will start saving money in yr4 and get it before i graduate. Then i will bring it to graduate trip!! I will learn how to use it,etc even though i am a noob with gadgets.

I went to my family BBQ celebration instead of Alvin's party.Sorry my og mates! I know that I must have missed out a lot of fun and laughter :( next time k? My mum was telling my dad, 'our girl not bad ah,rather go for family celebration than with her friends,unlike other teenagers.' That got me to start thinking,I would really sacrifice going out with my friends then excuse myself from my family dinner/gatherings. So sorry my friends! I guess,I really value family ties alot, especially those whom I am close with.Unlike those bitchy relatives with evil intentions,they behave and sound so fake,can they just get out of sight! I really don't want to see them during chinese new year,actually i will only see them like for a day,because once they collected their ang baos,they can't wait to go off.Their presence totally disgust me,i think some people do have such relatives as well. Oh whatever,I will live the life i want,of course,better than those people.

Food! It was my first time seeing seafood at a BBQ,haha.It was a good experience though. Most photos are on FB already,so here are just a few of them.

Had a lunch xmas celebration with my colleagues on thursday,we had salads, turkey, ham and bread. It was a nice gathering with my colleagues :) The boy is just one of my colleagues son,haha. Female dominated office as most of the guys were on business trip.Equality ftw :)

I got my first A in university, but surprisingly, it came from the module i dread the most, SC2101 social research. I think I did well for my end year paper.When i finished the paper, i thought it was hard :( but everyone told me its easy. In the end, I got an A for it,woots! If I can get A, i think many of you can too! I got a B- for the 10% and B for the 30%, so overall my 40% CA should be a B? so indeed there is miracle. That is my only A though for this sem. Overall, I am happy that my cap didn't drop, if it drop anymore, i really can jump le. As compared to others, my grades are like nothing. While I am happy that my cap (3.2) didn't drop, the people from sci, business, etc may be feeling sad because they did not meet their expectations of cap 5.0 or above cap 4.5. Sickening people!

My resume does look nicer now :) with experience in Bank of Singapore and now at Asia Medic Limited (medical company providing healthcare services, at least its a listed company but i am only working for one moth), in addition, I still have my title as 'organising director' in sociology society to back my resume up. I am just hoping my resume strength can overcome my weakness in academic. Thinking of what internship should i take up during the summer break next year. An advice to everyone, check out the internship availability early,like in march and go for the interview.Don't wait till may then start finding,most internship jobs will be go. As for sociology majors, the sociology society will be organising a career talk by companies providing internships especially for socio majors (hope we can find!).

Why is Iphone 5 coming out so soon? like July?!! I was planning to get my iphone 4 next month,argh! I doubt my LG can last me till July 2011,so forget it, i will still get my iphone 4 with my pathetic pay at AsiaMedic. I calculated, my pay at Asia Medic is $3/hr, i still work 5.5days,kns. I really like my bank job,2hr lunch break with a pay of 1.2k but no internet. Here i have internet-fb,msn,etc but pay is $750 and 1hr break.Nevermind,it will look nice in resume.

Meeting Janice for Rapunzel movie later in the evening :) Tomorrow I have tuition and friday I have xmas party at Alvin's house. So Awesome!!

Went shopping with Emily yesterday, like finally! We went fareast, Emily wanted to get her red dress altered. But it was way too expensive, like $18 just to make it tighter, so she decided to alter on her own. I wondered how women wear heels to shop, its super painful man because I suffered that fate. Emily bought like 2 shoes in one shop, impulsive shopping because she almost wanted to buy another pair. Haha. Shop for like 2 hours plus then we headed to Dhoby Ghaut for Gongcha.

It was kind of disappointing; it doesn’t taste as good as koi :( There was a mac roadshow, it was super duper cheap man. But I did not went to bid, like ipod nano or whatever, original price was 298 but it was sold at 130bucks only @#$%$%^&!!!!! It was really a good bargain man; it attracted quite a lot of crowd so good stunt I guess. Went to walk around then went to eat at the kopitiam, save money. Haha.

I think we spend more time sitting down than walking around. Haha. After dinner, we went john little-warcoal-unity-guardian-watsons-unity-john little. Because I wanted to check out the price for Evening Primrose Oil, eventually I bought it at John Little, $29.90. It helps to maintain healthy skin, hair and nails, etc. so shall see whether my skin improve not. Haha.

I feel like getting the monopoly deal set leh, its selling at $9.90 carrefour. Masa malam only selling at $3.90 I think, but there isn’t any nearby my house. Sian, shall wait for it then. Its really super fun to play, awesome game!!

Working now again, a new set of data to be copied and pasted. I wanted to go gym today but I realized I did not bring my shampoo. Actually I didn’t felt like going because I’m quite lazy now. Haha. So I shall go tomorrow instead. Shall buy KFC for dinner, for me and my mum because my dad is going out to eat with his friend.

I didn’t update for the past few days because I was lazy. I’m updating now at office but I can’t upload photos to my blog here. Work has been rather mundane, I was busy photocopying and doing ‘copy-paste’ admin work for the first few days, subsequently I have been doing researching on marketing, mainly pricing. I can’t reveal too much so I shall stop here.

Watched Harry Potter on Monday, it was an awesome movie!! Though I felt that there were not many confrontations between Voldermort and Harry Potter, the whole movie was just about searching the hollocrux and the 3 main characters. But overall, it was good. The future generations won’t get to watch such an awesome movie. Haha. They probably will be obsessed with studies, since life will be so competitive in the future.

Life has been rather fulfilling, I have been going out with friends after work for almost the whole week. Tomorrow going JB with og mates J Back to work again, ending at 12.30pm.

I lost 15bucks at quanjun's house.I only lost in the second round :( and in the end,I was the biggest loser,argh! Totally no luck in mahjong this year! Doubt there will be any more mahjong sessions this year cause everyone seems to be busy.Haha. Quanjun's parents can really cook quite well. I like the salmon with mayo (taste like cheese to me though), mushrooms and cake.The chicken was too salty for my liking. We played two rounds of mahjong, from 3pm plus to 9.30pm, almost 6hrs all because of Dajie. He needs like 3mins on average to think which tile to throw out,which is kind of irritating sometimes (OPPS!! Sorry Dajie but its the truth).

I got the HR and Marketing Intern Job at Asia Medic, HQ located at Shaw House.The company hopes to venture into the elderly market, mainly the middle and upper class elderly. Hope to gain experience from this job, because nowadays its hard to find a job which does not require experience. Everywhere is so competitive. Companies are now looking for people with relevant experience, or people from business or engineering faculty. Rarely I see jobs that want FASS students -.- Seriously, what can FASS students do? Our cert is more general, applicable to anything, we do not have any specialty. I shall look for internship jobs next holiday too!! Must start early because many students will be looking for intern jobs next semester holiday. But this job pays low,$750 for 5.5 working days= $3 per hour.The interviewer said I was paid well in my previous jobs.But isn't $8/hr the market rate?

Sadly,this semester I am not going overseas for holidays! Our short Malaysia trip is also cancelled because Emily and I got work. But now I feel that my life has more meaning, because of my job,if not I will keep stoning at home,either watching tv or use the com. Really like the brown heels that I bought with Amy.I want to go shopping again!! The first thing my mum said when I told I got the job and its located at Shaw House,was 'Eh,then you can go and shop at Taka, Istean,etc, everyday can go shopping le!'

Later going to play mahjong at quanjun's house with Janice and Dajie. Super long never play mahjong le,hope all the good luck comes to me,haha. Met up with Ryan, Janice and Dajie yesterday at Bugis for Crystal Jade.

Friday,Saturday and Sunday,we will meeting one another.So AWESOME! I am so looking forward to Sunday because we will be going to Harbourfront Centre to eat Dim Sum buffet then after lunch, we are going to play LAN L4D2! Janice made us think of one activity to do after lunch, then we have to say it at the same time. Ryan said bowling, Dajie said Singing, I said Lan while Janice said L4D, only we two got telepathy.haha.

So happy that I bought a pair of brown heels with Amy at Far East just now. She needed to buy a pair of pants and shoes and she managed to accomplished the task with the help of me and Ian (her bf). I shall wear out my heels when I go out,hope it doesn't spoil that quickly like my other heels. Its not very expensive but not cheap as well, $26. I shall do more shopping next week and subsequent weeks. No overseas trip this holiday because flights are expensive and that we don't know where to go. Probably going to plan trips to Malaysia instead, but I haven plan cause I don't know whether Emily can make it anymore.

I did not get any response from my interview :( so i guess its not available for me. Because during the interview, the lady said that if i was hired, I will probably start on 2nd dec which is like tomorrow but I did not get any call. Sigh!!

Its too noisy to study at home,the renovation on the 15th floor is disturbing me! So i decided to study at night even though my productivity level is super low,thinking whether i should study outside tomorrow because my last exam is on saturday 1pm.

Kind of miss the past,these photos are mostly taken during year 1! I just realised I didn't really have a life this sem, no outings nor shopping nor mugging together. I really miss my year1 sem 1 days, arts camp, oweek, etc. Hopefully during this coming holiday we can all go out more often and take more photos so that we can look at them occasionally :):):):):)

I think i screwed up my sc2101 paper, firstly because I did not have enough time, secondly, I did not know how to answer the question. Just hopeful for a B- at least,I don't want a C+ again! Relaxed for awhile online,shall get back to mug later for soci of food and nation building. On a happy note, I think i got my internship from Sime Darby, executive apartment, not my ideal internship job though. It not really confirmed because the email only stated I was selected but did not say selected for what -.- when i looked at the job scope again,it seems to be a front desk job,wts. I wonder whether should i do it,hard labour, work from mon-fri 9-6pm and sat 9-1pm, only earns me 750 bucks= $3.80 per hour. I shall ask my dad about it when that lady in charge reply me.

I got B for social research (40%) and B+ for food term paper, not that happy about it but also not that disappointed,neutral i guess. But still bu shuang over the grades for social research,till now,i still don't know how to mug for it,damnit!! So many reading piling up! I shall not reflect my thoughts on it cause even if i grumble/complain/blame myself for always procrastinating, i will still end up in that vicious cycle of procrastinating-regret-motivate to work hard-procrastinate and the cycle goes.

Exams are coming but my pace of studying is really way too slow.I just spent the last 3hrs reading one food lecture note which only has 3pages -.- so screwed up man! 8 days to my first paper on 20th :( on one hand,I want to get it over and done with but on the other hand,i wish for more time. But even if i have more time, i won't make myself study. I always procrastinate so in the end,i will be like the girl in the picture,pulling my hair and trying to get whatever information into my head. Actually I'm kind of worried for my socio reports (childhood, food and social research) because I know i didn't put in much effort but i still hope for good grades. So ironic! honestly speaking,even if i was even more time,i still won't start early. Even though I tell myself i need to work hard to score well,probably said it since year 1, i still live in my la-la land.

I am still teaching tuition when all my friends have stopped. But next week will be my last lesson,need to stop for exams. My p1 kid got 27.5/40 for maths,so amazing when she always failed! actually i didn't do much cause i saw her exercise books,her mum does revise with her often and i also always focus on maths so i dread the time when she gets her english paper back. My p4 kid got 84.5 for english and 78 maths, her english is always good so i expected a good grade but maths @$#^%&# don't understand why she scored so badly * i had high expectations,haha. I was hoping she can get like 80plus because she is forever stuck at the 70 plus range, I tutored her for like a yr plus so i didn't want to get sacked. CUI! I shall adopt what i learn from the childhood module on her, I will set an expectation on her next year, like must get min 80 marks if not keep making her do maths! That is if i still continue teaching. My sec1 kid totally cui,65 for maths but i expected it cause she always never do her work and i don't teach cause most of the time,i chat with her or stone. I probably getting a new p3 student eng and maths at semb for 20 an hour,still pending until the parents confirm with the agency. Since i got no work during december and no holiday trips,i shall work and save money to go shopping!!

I had dinner at Ion Orchard, Taste of Paradise today. Went to my grandpa's house befor

e heading there.

I was so so amazed when i first saw this outside my grandpa's house. I thought my cousin bought a new car again. My dad told me how expensive is rolls royce,cost like at least half a million -.- then i asked him,who will buy such an expensive car,he said bankers,CEO,etc. In the end, my cousin told us that the car was his client's. His client is from China, he only comes to Singapore once every two months so he rarely use the car. He asked my cousin to drive it,because if you don't drive often, the car get spoilt easily.
that gold thing in front cost like 2k or 20k,i forgot the exact price.It is made of pure gold if i am not wrong.wth,no wonder its so ex. The interior is spacious,its like sitting in an airplane. The ride is smooth and the engine doesn't make noise even when my cousin accelerate.

Ion Orchard was so crowded!! So my cousin got the valet parking.And guess what,he did not pull handbrake and put to park so while we were getting out,the car ROWED BACK!!! Luckily never hit the taxi behind. Then my cousin said:' when you driving big cars, other cars won't dare to go close to you'.How true?The taxi was really a distance away from us.

Reached restaurant at about 7pm,my cousin did the ordering. Other than the set menu,we ordered addition side dishes. The sharkfin was really good man!!

The dinner was really awesome but it cost 1.5k.So is it really worth it? Its equivalent to someone's one month pay man. Dining out in such places is really only for the upper class families and people,not for the lower income. This reflect power relations and class differences. Only the rich are able to afford to eat in such a way. 1.5K can last a family for months but in this case, it was used within hours. Once in awhile is alright but it is still not worth it.

I completed my ge2204 presentation yesterday,like finally.Ck asked,is it true that people usually dress up for presentation?Then Eric said,its like asking what is 1+1. Yeah,I agreed, i probably dress up if only there is a presentation or if i'm going out after school which is unlikely.haha. Today was a long day in school,6hrs straight of lessons, finally know how to do spss!! After my history test on thursday, I going to chiong my spss, food term paper and childhood research project,each min 2k words,except spss -.- sociology is really full of write-ups unlike economics,but since i suck at econs, I have no choice but to do my readings and write like a machine during exams. SAD life!!

Time really pass super quickly, in two weeks time, it will be November. Then exams then holidays!! Still thinking whether I should get a part-time job since all my tuition jobs will stop in nov and dec. Reebonz still has not get back to me,probably no hope. Still hopeful about it :):):) I will indulge in shopping if I really get the job. Haha. Just brought a heels from sole passion recently,30bucks just flew away. Shall pamper myself more often with shoes, clothes and bags *smiles :)

I decided to re-vamp my blog and will update regularly now. Because there are really quite a lot of updates and I want to keep those memories on my blog. I viewed my older posts and memories started to flow back to me once again. Its like everything just happened only days ago,really miss all the great old times with friends :) sweet ttm!!

I met up with my arts camp og mates (amy,emily and michelle yip) for an awesome porridge buffet at suntec convention centre.Though it didn't really appeal from the appearance outside, but the food was indeed not bad!! It cost $12.80 per person on friday and weekends but only costs $9.80 nett from monday to thursday. I think its really worth it :) Sadly my citibank card was useless,not much discount and promotions for 1-1 buffet. We initially tried calling some of the restaurants but it was way over our budget,like the buffet at The Mandarin, $72+++ per person, even with 1-1,its still 40++.Budget students go for budget meals!!

The food looks really like those you can find at any hawker centre in the morning. But here was unlimited,the duck and chicken were really awesome. Is eating mui-cai very aunty? -.- I always eat it because my aunt always cooks it every month. My porridge was like korean ban-fan, I mixed everything into my porridge but ended not eating it but we changed tables.

These are super duper nice durian puffs :):):):) I ate like more than 5 of it, emily and amy too.We should go geylang to eat durian too,I heard its not bad there.

We were super full so we decided to walk to dhoby ghaut because amy wanted to buy buttons from spotlight. Seriously, Singapore is really small,everywhere is connected. We got there in like less than 20mins and we got to explore SMU underground passage way. We caught andre studying there, haha. Emily and Amy were like taking photos of flowers with bees flying around near DG mrt.

While waiting for Amy to buy buttons, we two decided to take photos.

Emily made me walk around plaza singapura for like 2hrs!!! -.- we walked to times-johnlittle-C&K-watsons-7-11-carrefour-crocs-johnlittle, basically, we walked the whole PS until like 5plus then we made our way home to change into our heels to go suzhen's birthday. I waited super long for our dear emily,tsk!! In the end,at pasir ris mrt, we saw cyan, zk,bev and junyue so we went to suzhen's party together. Luckily we met them because I don't know how to get to her chalet.

The place was super hot la so I stayed in the room. We ate in the room, played drinking games and chat. Laughed alot,it was really fun catching up with the others,with Jo'an they all, there will always be laughter, haha. Seriously, when i left the air-conditioned room, I sweated like mad la.I need to stay in air-conditioned or cooling places,that's why i like cold countries!!

I forgot why we said stop! though, haha.

I went to Sociology AGM last friday and ran for the position, Organising Director. I was kind of afraid I won't get the role because only the nominee with the highest votes running for the organising cell will then get to be the director and i practically don't know anyone from the society because I have never joined their events before. Maybe I was lucky, I won over the votes by like 2 to get the post. Probably my past experiences in Arts Club helped me,so I am really grateful that Arts Club has provided me with such great experiences that I can use for other areas.Even though life at arts club wasn't actually very smooth-sailing but it was still a great experience afterall. Now being the organising director,I have not really think through what events should I come up with to benefit sociology majors. Its a much smaller scale as compared to Arts Club,so I really should give it a good though.

Yesterday I really felt like killing myself!!! I took the wrong trains twice in a day. First I went to Paya Lebar for a job interview at 6pm, after interview instead of taking train to City Hall, I took the train to Pasir Ris,only until Kembangan station then I realised I was on the wrong train. Second, I was finally on the right train, the red line but I was sitting so comfortably on the priority seat that I missed my sembawang stop,I sat to woodlands station.I was super blur yesterday which I also don't know why!! This is actually the 3rd time I made such mistake this year already.

A busy week ahead because its ODD WEEK. Will be going to IT show later with ken and emily to buy laptop bag,hopefully I will see what I like but I totally hate the crowd man!!

I want to go holiday again!! Emily and Ken!!

Today will be last day of work at BOS,as peaceful as usual. Bidded HY2229 Nation Building in Singapore as one of UE, I heard something about this module before but forgot whether people's comments about were good or bad. Thank God I got all my mods for sociology, just dropped sociology of work, probably also going to drop social research as well to take active ageing,no one seems to be interested to take this module with me :( nvm,shall mug. Please remind me to mug often and do my readings diligently.

Oweek is just tomorrow, i don't feel really excited about it, looking at the DPS make me dread the tiredness that I will be facing from saturday to friday even more. Almost everday 7am start, 12am end,i felt like scolding knn la.Reminder to myself: I must prepare panadols and painkillers as I forsee I will definitely need them.I think I am abit weird, if I sleep too much or sleep too little, I will get headaches, it happened many times already, since jc.

Close friends are hard to find now, those who really know and understand you. I think it gets harder as the years pass by, friends now are like passers-by, walked into your life for awhile then walked out of it, friendship can indeed be vunerable. It really takes effort to maintain a friendship and it must be a two-way thing,if not it won't work as well.

Anyway, Sandra treated me lunch just now at the kowloon cafe,its super nice, its baked spahgetti. Thanks. And now i am eating my awfully chocolate icecream, Thanks Martin for treating, woohoo, super chocolate-tic. yeah man!! Today is the most awesome day, I am going to watch inception with another 9 people from oweek ocoomm later at vivo. SUPER HAPPY!!

Took leave yesterday for exco meeting at Starbucks. Finally finished the DPS for precamp,it got a little boring after a while,the meeting lasted for like 4hrs and the discussion lasted for another 2hrs plus. I think for the actual oweek DPS, probably need like 2day to complete it. Imo, the programmes are rather good with new elements added into them,great job by the programmers.Its kinds of surprising that I know almost all the programmers,some from union camp,one from JC,one from primary school and one for geo class,so cool.Everyone came back to do oweek for Alson, he totally owe everyone a favour (quoted by xavier).HAHA. I think this month my message can hit 3k,abt 100msg a day cause need to mass blast sms. Just messaged the house ICs for help to pass down the message to ask their guy councilors and arts campers to encourage their guy friends to join Oweek. Really hope the guys sign up rate will shoot up like rocket on saturday!!! I want good news on saturday,17th July, 6pm!!! For once,I support MLM, because if every guy freshie who signed up for oweek already introduce one guy each and the 150guys from arts camp intro one guy each, OMG! then we will have 210 guys, more than expected.Now I just hope 140 guys sign up and i guess it will be achievable man!! Desperate times call for desperate measures. If on sat, still have 100guys and below in total,then must really mass blast publicity liao,totally must message every guy councilor/freshie to remind them to encourage their friends and do last minute publicity on forum and fb!!!

Had oweek first ocomm meeting ydae,it was short and sweet,ended at around 8pm.Finally consolidated all the girls for oweek but we are desperately lacking of guys.I agree what xavier said:almost programmes need guys to play,there cannot be a 1:5 ratio,the guys will prob have to play all the games and be super tired at the end of the day.Probably some people don't understand why we still not opening up more vacancies to girls yet. This is actually to be fair to the guys as guys always take their time to sign up for camps i guess.Though I am happy that the turnout rate is good especially for the girls, but still need to take into account of other factors.But it is super headache when the tagboard is flooded with posts asking us to open up spaces to the girls, actually this also depends what is your number on the waiting list. Back to ocomm meeting,it was short and sweet because we only had to introduce ourselves and why we were there then PD alson said his emo speech and it ended.

Been having headaches these days because of late nights and tiredness during the day,i think painkillers will be like my sweet soon :( ARGH!!! I took the wrong train, instead of taking back to raffles place, i took the train to jurong east -.- I was still sitting to wait for train to come la, Janice!!! must be you!!! when i talked to you, i took wrong train. Oweek Registration was a nightmare to me. Saw this on amy's blog,she introduced this place,Poseidon, Undersea Resort, Fiji.Its totally heavenly,its cool to wake up to look up and see all those fishes and underwater creatures moving around.Like what she said,super ex man,US30k per couple a week ($42,300).

In the midst of the piling up of work for oweek,there is recruitment drive publicity popping up.idiots! Oweek registration dates are approaching, I forsee a madness queue at macs, both freshies and councilors. Hope there is space at mac if not gg liao. Saturday will be my busy day,after registration got oweek ocomm meeting then oweek exco meeting but alson still rocks,YEAH MAN! I hope everyone including all freshmen sign up this weekend so that I don't have to find people to be that booth. I can't be there with Janice,sorry janice cause I need to be at pre-camp.

Today is like 5percent better than ydae cause I got work to do, just finding approval messages for some accounts,print and attach them.That's all.Everyone is telling me how slack is my job,even my mum. Cause I kept calling her fo find vernice then everytime she will say 'eh,you so free ah,no work to do again ah.' My answer will always be yes.haha. Tonight got tuition,P1 EM, my new assignment,twice a week,1.5hrs but the girl is really slow in learning,the dad still say want to send her to do a dyslexia test. Last tuition, I asked her to differentiate alphabets but she kept mixing alphabet B and D, P and Q.Sigh,need full attention so don't say my job slack.haha.

I feel like I'm deprived of sleep even though I sleep before 11pm or 12am. I think I need many cans of coffee during pre-camp but coffee doesn't seem to have an effect on me. I still sleep soundly.

Like any other days,today is another free day,sit in office and wait for time to pass slowly. I tried doing abit of my oweek admin stuff but the most irritating thing is I can't access my gmail,hotmail and facebook. Totally can't send out mails, there is no wireless in the office too.But at least I did some research on what theme to use for oweek,do the reg forms for councilor and freshie and search for songs.I just found a super nice and sad song-The Charm Beneath-Heng Ji.

Tonight staying over at Janice's house to settle some oweek admin issues and stuff but before doing all these stuff,we will be having mahjong session at qj's house.I didn't play mj for a long time,think the last one was before my genting trip, which was in may. Pray that I win qj and his friend,haha,to sponsor my shopping spree.
